Be compassionate and realistic with yourself. Take courage if an image you see in the mirror is not ideal. No one is perfect after all. The worst case scenario in this case is being lazy. Identify what you want and go for it. For example, I prefer my body to be slim and gracious. Stretching serves the purpose very well. That is why I attend hot yoga and looking for a dance studio close to my place. Everyone is individual. Find out what works the best for you.
“Be happy with what you have while working for what you want”. Helen Keller
Size matters. As Marline Monroe said: “Your clothes should be tight enough to show you’re a woman but loose enough to show you’re a lady”. Underline your strong features such as tiny waist, delicate shoulders, long legs etc with the appropriate clothes. Do not swim in clothes. Step out from your comfort zone. Make an effort not to be comfy-sporty-casual all the time. Changes mens attitude forever towards you 180 degrees.
Do research on your skin tone, your eyes, lips, hair. Take couple of items from the wardrobe and compare them in front of the mirror and see what color matches you the best. There are tons of helpful literature, videos available: https://www.
Age matters. Older I get more I like my style. I would ascribe classy, elegant, sophisticated suitable for any age. Be aware of your surrounding. Follow the common sense in regards to a place and occasion. You can do much better than wearing torn jeans in your 30th or jumping around in shorts during a business meeting.
Quality matters. Love your body. Never go for a junk when it comes to food and clothes. Your body is breathing, being nourished, gets rest and, you know, lives its life. Even if you do not suspect it. Give your body a break and do not restrict it with the wooden, tight, rubber things. Get rid of negative memories and old clothes. Reward yourself with silk, cashmere, linen – those are must-haves in every wardrobe.
