“Men go shopping to buy what they want.
Women go shopping to find out what they want.”
Shopping is fun! And lucky is that girl who finds a man who is a big fan of fashion. It is to a woman’s great advantage if she can practice self control and keep herself free from love of money. Men have a huge respect for those rare species. Everything in life should be balanced and shopping is not an exception.
While shopping do not grab the bright orange just because your eyes want to eat it. A good looking color on the shelf will not necessarily match your skin ton. Do not outdate yourself with the dull shades but rather compliment/flatter with the color, which makes you look younger.
More expensive does not always mean outstanding quality or better match for you. Most of my clothes very from $10 to $250 a piece. There is no need to go beyond that range only if it is not the outwear or shoes. In the end of the day saved money in the pocket gives you much better feeling than a purse for $2,000.00. Wise funds management also raises your self esteem and earns respect from successful people.
Avoid shopping for clothes alone. There are two reasons: a) it is so much more fun to do it together with friends; b) one head is good but two are better; c) accountability is a great way not to be trapped by sparkle and glitter. It is wise to have a trustworthy friend as an outsider to hear his or her opinion.
Give it a second thought. Do not get an item if you do not feel 100% right about it. Sleep with your thought overnight and if it still in your head give it a try. Women are spoiled nowadays with a great variety of patterns, designs, colors, shapes of every possible product. So, put away thinking: “This is an irreplaceable dress and I will not find anything better that this again.”
Make an event out if it! Never go through the store hungry or stressed out. Have plenty of time for it. Go for a cup of coffee and a nice conversation with your friend prior and make your friendship stronger.
