Do not be afraid to express yourself! Even if legions are against you. It takes guts, I know but it is rewarding. Nothing feels so good than knowing who you are and doing what you love. There was a girl in my school. She was wearing outdated clothes and everyone laughed at her. But boy, was she strong. The brightest student I knew. She never let anyone to cause bow her head down. I knew her family. It is due to the lack of finance she could not buy new clothes and was tailoring her own skirts and dresses worn previously by her mom. That girl was beautiful in my eyes, brave, elegant, pure gem. I think the other students understood it with the time. One more thing, she made her character to be as strong as a steel, ready for every upcoming challenge of an adult life.
I learned one thing right after I moved to Boulder, CO: there is no chance I see heels or sophisticated dresses on the streets of the city. But it did not prevent me from wearing it! Every time people saw me in the “too much” outfit” they raised questions: “Are you going on a date?” “Are you playing golf today?” On Monday at 9 am?! Are you serious? I sparkled with my bigger that life smile and politely answered: “Yes. What a great idea! Maybe i will go.”
Please, never judge a person by the way he or she dresses. I met many millionaires wearing Lucky Brand jeans. They were barefoot sometimes. So, do not label a person, study a circumstance first before you jump into a conclusion.
